Little Snitch is one of another application found in the MAC OS X. As you know, firewall is for incoming connections. The little snitch is not only disclose any of the outgoing network connections, and make an attempt to ensure that the sensitive data doesn’t leave the computer without any consent. Firewalls like this one do one thing: They block incoming connections. Some firewalls also allow you to block outgoing connections, but the built-in firewalls on Mac and Windows don’t work in this way. If you want a firewall that will allow you to choose which programs get to connect to the Internet or not, look elsewhere.
You can change preferences for the SMTP mail server you use to send messages, as directed by the provider of your email accounts.
To change these preferences in the Mail app on your Mac, choose Mail > Preferences, click Accounts, click Server Settings, click the outgoing Account pop-up menu, then choose Edit SMTP Server List.
